An international network studying The Circulation of Dutch Literature

Uit het Impulsfonds van de Katholieke Universiteit Leuven is een bedrag van € 111.000,– beschikbaar gesteld om voor twee jaar een promovendus aan te stellen voor het project En Route. The International Trajectories of Flemish Literature in the 20th Century. Daarnaast is een voorwaardelijke garantie gegeven voor de financiering van het verdere promotietraject. En Route ‘aims at investigating translations and adaptations of Flemish literature written in the 20th century in order to give insight into the complex mechanism of bringing literature into circulation, both in a national and a transnational context, and to challenge the widely accepted dichotomy and hierarchy between centre and periphery in the literary space’. De board van het project wordt gevormd door dr. Ton van Kalmthout (Huygens ING), prof.dr. Reine Meylaerts (KU Leuven) en dr. Orsolya Réthelyi (ELTE Boedapest); promotor is prof.dr. Elke Brems (KU Leuven, campus Brussel). En Route komt voort uit het NWO-project Circulation of Dutch Literature (CODL).
